Draycote has 700 acres of water and is an RYA recognised training school. It has a large number of windsurfers, Fireballs, Flying Fifteens and Solos, and a fair number of Miracles, Lasers and various asymmetric boats. There is a strong Youth and Junior contingent sailing 29ers, Cadets and other classes. The water is open 364 days / year, with racing every Sunday and bank holiday. There is also a race series on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
